Accreditation for the Göteborg Book Fair
From the 23rd-26th September 2010 Göteborg will once again be the Nordic region's biggest meeting place for the book industry. Authors, publishers, teachers, librarians, opinion-makers, politicians and everyone who loves books meets here. This is the place to meet established authors and discover new ones.
The Book Fair in 2010 focuses on Africa and African literature. Intensive discussions and planning are already underway with the Nordic Africa Institute in Uppsala, SIDA, African embassies in Stockholm and several publishing houses and organisations.

A major media event
The Göteborg Book Fair is a major media event. Over 1 200 journalists and photographers were accredited in 2009. Journalists at the Book Fair benefit from both inspiration and a foundation for material and articles throughout the year! To be accredited means that you get a personal press card and have attendance to all seminars and the exhibition halls. As an accredited journalist you have full access to our press center, offering a place to work, computers, TV, fax, press releases and knowledgeable staff. The Press Centre is situated on the first floor. Venues for press conferences and interviews are available next to the press center.
We warmly welcome you to accredit yourself in June 2010. More information and an application form will be available closer to the time here.
Press programme
The Book Fair hosts a large number of press conferences. The press programme and the programme with award ceremonies will be available on the website at the end of August.
